The Star Magnolia is one of the most popular Magnolias. It produces pure-white, star-shaped flowers that are ever so slightly scented and has become established as one of the most popular small trees in the UK. It will grow in various soil types and unlike other varieties, is tolerant of alkaline soils. Due to its compact growing habit, it is also perfect grown in a container.
