Description
The Charcoal Maker was winner of the RHS Sustainable Product of the Year Award and is a very simple device for making your own charcoal at home. It has a carry handle, two removable end caps and opening tool.
- Completely fill with wood, place in hot core of the fire, wait for steam – this is the moisture being driven out of the wood, followed by the yellow flames which denotes the impurities being burnt off. After 2 hours remove the Charcoal Maker from the fire
- Once cold, open with the opening tool to reveal your homemade charcoal.
