A variegated ‘Pineapple lily’ with bicoloured flowers. These impressive bulbous perennials form a large basal rosette of wide, strap-shaped leaves, with an erect, purple-spotted stem bearing a dense pillar of star-shaped pale green flowers, each petal is edged with maroon, and all topped by a crown of leafy bracts, opening in late summer and early autumn. Used in containers and bedding schemes, they are easy to care for prefer full sun but will grow in partial shade too.
