This flower bulb is producing thick fleshy stems on which the lily-like pure white flowers stand. The thick and very long leaves are sword-shaped. The bulb should not be planted too deeply and likes a place in full sun. Crinums are moderately hardy (-10°C) and therefore requires a sheltered spot with winter cover in the garden. Crinums can also be planted in a pot. In a pot it is necessary to let the plant overwinter in a cool and frost-free environment."
