- Increase the number of beekeepers in the UK - The UK has the lowest number of beekeepers per capita in Europe. Our mission is to double the number of beekeepers to 100,000.
- Increase biodiversity - Honeybees are a “key-stone species”, essential for our environment and food sustainability. We desperately need more of them.
- To make beekeeping more visible - If more people were presented with beekeeping, more people would consider taking it up.
- To make beekeeping more welcoming - Getting into beekeeping can be daunting, Buzz Box aims to simplify this process and make it more accessible.
