The Japanese Barberry, also known as Berberis Thunbergii, is a, spiny, deciduous shrub with a compact growing habit. Summer Sunset bears small, bright-green, obovate leaves that begin to turn red in the Autumn. Small, inconspicuous flowers emerge in the Summer attracting bees and other beneficial pollinators to your garden.
