Allium ‘Summer Drummer’ is the tallest and latest-flowering of all allium varieties, creating a dramatic display in the summer garden. Its large, tightly packed flower heads, about the size of a man’s fist, are beautifully flushed white and purple, made up of hundreds of star-shaped florets. Ideal for sunny borders, it looks especially striking planted in drifts alongside ornamental grasses and other alliums. A superb cut flower, it is also highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators.
