Delivery Driver - Part-time position, including working Saturdays

Delivery Driver

Our Deliverey Drivers pride themselves on not only giving our customers the very best home delivery service. Helping the garden centre team to provide an aspirational shopping experience for our customers. Your focus will always be on service and meeting our customers’ expectations.

This is a hands-on role where you will be delivering our quality products to our valued customers. You’ll be maintaining high levels of service, attention to standards and presentation. You should be able to work on your own initiative and have a flexible approach.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have a full UK drivers’ licence.
• Have experience in a delivery or driving role, although we are open to speaking to candidates from any customer service background.
• Be able to provide excellent customer service with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Be physically fit, as some heavy lifting will be required.
• Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Have good knowledge of the local area for efficient deliveries.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Delivering products safely and efficiently to our customers, ensuring they are completed on time and in excellent condition.
• Maintaining the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition, undertaking regular van checks and addressing any concerns with Garden Centre Management.
• Assisting the Garden Centre with other duties when not on deliveries.
