Food Hall - 42.5 Hours per week, full-time position, including alternate weekend working

Food Hall Department Manager
We are seeking a Food Hall Department Managers who is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to our valued customers.
Our Food HallManagers pride themselves on not only giving our customers the very best in product quality and choice, but also on providing them with an aspirational shopping experience through creating stunning visual displays. They work hard to constantly ensure stock availability, that our high standards are high and that our customers enjoy exceptional service and specialist advice.
As a Food Hall Manager, you will be hands-on, and responsible for managing and leading your team in pulling all of this vital activity together so that our customers have a truly unique and memorable shopping experience. Your focus will always be on the customer and meeting their expectations, but you will also have responsibility for driving sales and profitability – so you will have a real sense of ownership and empowerment!
Our ideal Food Hall anagers will:
- Have experience working in retail, although we are open to talking to candidates from any background.
- Have an energetic personality and ability to engage and connect with our AB1 target customers and lead all our customers to products that are most appropriate for their requirements.
- Have a creative and entrepreneurial attitude towards retailing and be able to use reports to benchmark your performance and make commercial decisions.
- Be meticulous to the detail in terms of product placement, standards, presentation, visual elevation and overall look and feel.
- Ensure there is adequate stock cover and availability for our customers and proactively manage stock levels from entry to exit.
- Ensure Health and Safety guidance is being followed in terms of food hygiene and safety, including making sure all items are date checked and rotated regularly
- Have experience in food and food products, although this is not essential.
- Be an inspirational leader for Centre staff ensuring they receive clear direction and performance management with a culture of coaching and mentoring
- Be able to use an Epos system.
