Pure white and very richly flowering with up to 8 flowers per stem in April-May. ‘Petrel’ was bred in America and is one of the daffodils named after birds by breeder Grant Mitch. Deadheading can be done when the flowers are finished, but its best if the leaves are allowed to die back naturally without cutting. This allows time for the bulbs to store up nutrients to feed the flowers in the following year. Its small size makes it ideal for pots and containers.
