Calatheas are beautiful house plants grown for their stunning foliage. The top sides of the leaves look as if they have been painted with beautiful brushstrokes which has earned them several names, including the Peacock plant, the Cathedral window plant and the Zebra plant.
- Best in bright, indirect light but will tolerate a bit of shade.
- Water every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry out half way down between waterings.
- Bathrooms are ideal, as they love a humid atmosphere.
- Feed every couple of months with a balanced fertiliser. Wipe the leaves occasionally to remove dust.
- Grown in the UK in peat free soil
