Trelawney Garden Centre
Trelawney Garden Centre, situated just outside Wadebridge on the A389, was founded in 1970 by Frank and Marion Danning as a small nursery supplying home grown fruit, vegetables and flowers from a roadside stall to local customers as they passed by.
As time progressed, the business flourished and with the help of son David who joined straight from school and David Symons, who started working for the family at the age of 11, Trelawney Nurseries gradually became Trelawney Garden Centre as the range of goods stocked widened to provide for all gardening needs. The business which became renowned for it’s quality, variety of products and friendly family atmosphere is now recognised as one of the top garden centres in the country.
The centre has been awarded commendation for many departments and its staff by the Garden Centre Association inspectors and in fact gaining the award of the top garden centre in the Wales & West region for the last few years along with the accolade of a ‘Garden Centre of Excellence’ which is only given to the top 10 centres in the UK.
Trelawney is a wonderful day out for all and when your shopping is complete, our restaurant, Carriages, which overlooks a beautiful large lake teaming with fish, otters and moorhens, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind.

The garden centre and restaurant are closed on 25th and 26th December, 1st January and Easter Sunday. Closing at 4pm on the 24th and 31st of December

Start your day off with a Full English Breakfast, or treat yourself to something like eggs benedict, eggs royale. All cooked fresh to order.
Breakfast served from 8.30am to 11.30am Monday to Saturday, and 10am to 11.30am on Sundays.
We have an exciting range of freshly made hot food dishes along with a selection of salads, toasted ciabatta’s, baked potatoes. Our quiches are our speciality with a choice of meat and vegetarian options each day. Our popular Sunday Carvery Roasts are served every Sunday from mid-day till 3pm, with a choice of meats with vegetarian options, all with your selection of seasonal vegetables and roast potatoes.
