Mere Park
Mere Park Garden Centre was acquired by Blue Diamond in November 2021 and received a full refurbishment in the summer of 2022. The centre now hosts our own, exclusive, Blue Diamond Fashion department, as well as our unique pâtisserie concept, Kipling Pâtisserie & Prose.
The centre opened its doors in 2003 and is located on the edge of the lovely market town of Newport, Shropshire.
There is a 12 acre retail Park which offers a full range of products and services that meet all your shopping & leisure needs. There are many well-known brands such as Maidenhead aquatics and Handy Andy Car Wash.

The garden centre and restaurant are closed on 25th and 26th December, 1st January and Easter Sunday. Closing at 4pm on the 24th and 31st of December

The Parlour
We offer a variety of homemade dishes from our Deli counters which include, Quiches, Sausage Rolls, Frittata, Ploughman's, Parmesan-Herb Crusted Chicken Breast, Baguettes, Hot panini, Soup of the day and Baked Potatoes with choice of fillings.
Try our Full English Breakfast or maybe one of our lighter options such as Light English Breakfast, Eggs Benedict, Eggs Cypriot or Vegetarian Breakfast.

Origins Pâtisserie & Prose
Our in-house Chef de pâtisseries believe that pastry is different from cooking because you have to consider the chemistry, beauty and flavour and be in tune with its all sourcing secret and unusual ingredients.
The love of elegant pâtisserie dates back to the time of Napoleon when elaborate confections were popularised by great chefs such as Escoffier. Our pastry chefs have created a signature superior comestible Bundt-style cake utilising the same fine ingredients as described by Rudyard in his quote.
Indulge in the timeless tradition of Afternoon Tea.
Featuring an array of delicate finger sandwiches, carefully crafted home-made cakes, and warm, freshly baked scones served with rich strawberry preserve and Cornish clotted cream.
